Lucy blocked my way. "Lisa, stop putting on an act. Dylan trusts me." I clenched the pregnancy test slip tight in my hand. "This cheap trick won't fool him for long. Sooner or later, he'll find out you're not pregnant at all." "And what if he does?" She stepped closer, pressing in on me. "You're not in his eyes anymore. Your company, your place—they're all mine now." Dylan's footsteps echoed near. I opened my mouth to speak, but he was already shielding Lucy behind him. "Lisa, leave her alone." "Leave her alone?" I snapped, my voice sharp with urgency. "She forged the papers to lie to you! Open your eyes and see the truth!" He glanced at the slip, then let out a cold scoff. "Enough. Stop pulling these stunts just to get my attention." Lucy leaned against his shoulder, raising an eyebrow at me in defiance. I reached out to grab him, only to be shoved hard by her. As I lost my balance and fell downward, she leaned in to whisper in my ear. "Just go to sleep tight. When you wake up, everything will be different."收起

Chapter 1 of "After Amnesia, I Dumped My Ex-Husband"

I woke up with a splitting headache, staring at the unfamiliar crystal chandelier on the ceiling, my mind feeling half-empty. The only clear thought was Dylan Shaw—the rival I'd been at odds with for years. I propped myself up against the headboard as the bedroom door gently opened, and Dylan Shaw stepped in. He wore light gray loungewear, and the usual sharpness in his eyes was gone, replaced by a complicated look I couldn't read. "You're awake?" His tone was flat, with a faint trace of impatience barely noticeable. I furrowed my brow and instinctively snapped back, "Dylan, what are you doing in my room? Get out." Dylan sneered, his eyes instantly growing colder. "Lisa, are you losing it? This is our bridal suite. If I'm not here, then where the h*ll would I be?" "Bridal suite?" I was completely stunned. In my memory, he and I have been rivals since school and through work—we've always been at odds. How could we possibly be married? "Cut the crap. How could we ever be married?" Just as Dylan was about to speak, a gentle voice came from the doorway: "Dylan, I've made some millet porridge. Should I dish some out for Lisa Scott too?" I turned my head and saw a woman in an off-white dress standing there, her lower belly slightly rounded, a gentle smile playing on her lips, but her eyes flashed as they swept over me. Dylan Shaw immediately turned around and stepped forward, his hand steadying her waist in a natural, intimate way I'd never seen before. "Take it slow, watch your step. Why aren't you sitting on the couch waiting?" The woman nodded, her gaze returning to me, her tone purposely warm: "Lisa Scott, I'm Lucy Lynn. Don't read too much into it—I'm just staying here temporarily. I'll leave once I find the right place." I watched Dylan fiercely defend her like a protective parent, and strangely, I felt relieved instead of upset: "It doesn't matter, as long as you're both fine, don't worry about me." Dylan seemed caught off guard by my reaction, paused for a moment, then his face darkened: "Lisa Scott, what game are you playing now? Playing hard to get?" "I'm not playing any games." I leaned back against the headboard, my tone cold, "Since your heart belongs elsewhere, let's just live our own lives and stay out of each other's business. Fine by me." Lucy tugged lightly at Dylan's sleeve and whispered, "Dylan, don't argue with Lisa. She just woke up, her body's still weak. If she gets worse, it won't be good." Dylan Shaw shot me a glare, helped Lucy Lynn up, and turned to leave. "Drink your porridge first. Don't pay attention to her crazy talk." Watching them walk away side by side, I slowly closed my eyes. The grudges before my amnesia were still crystal clear, but everything that happened after was so absurd, it was almost laughable. Fine by me. My worst enemy's now a stranger—that's one less headache to deal with. All I'm hoping is that Lucy Lynn can keep Dylan in check, so we can finally cut ties for good.
